Most of you all know that I do various types of modeling, one being a promo model or BA. What’s a BA, you ask? Well a BA is short for brand ambassador and as a BA, it’s my job to help promote and get the word out about a particular brand. It could be from a social media standpoint, where brands send me items or merchandise to review and rep on Facebook or Instagram. Or, like most of my BA work, a promotional event held at a convention, sporting event, festival, or even bars. You know that person at the festival that has some cool free items for you as long as you signup for an email list or something, well that’s me lol. It’s my duty to educate you about the brand I’m working for and excite you about what they can offer you. I’ve worked with such brands as SVEDKA Vodka, Sports Illustrated, Hennessy, Bosch, Aleve, Delta, 5 Hr Energy Drinks, Allstate, Geico and even on a food truck with WingStop just to name a few.
It’s super fun, meeting new people, and the best part is that I get to travel anywhere! So far I’ve had the chance to travel all over the southeast doing promos. There is always an event somewhere and a lot of BA’s do it full time. And as much as I am an introvert, being in this field where I’m meeting and interacting with new people is pretty cool.
